Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the DEAD box protein family, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD). These proteins are putative RNA helicases involved in processes such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome/spliceosome assembly.
Some members are associated with embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth/division.
The encoded DDX56 protein exhibits ATPase activity in the presence of polynucleotides and associates with nucleoplasmic 65S preribosomal particles, suggesting a role in ribosome synthesis, particularly during assembly of the 60S ribosomal subunit.
