Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of GATA2 only when phosphorylated at Ser192.
Target Information
GATA2 (GATA binding protein 2) is a member of the GATA family of transcription factors, which play key roles in signaling pathways controlling proliferation and differentiation of erythroid progenitor cells. The GATA family consists of six transcription factors: GATA1 to GATA6.
GATA2 acts as a transcriptional activator regulating endothelin-1 gene expression in endothelial cells and is also involved in differentiation of other tissue types, such as urogenital and nervous tissues, during embryogenesis.
