Antibody detects endogenous levels of FGFR4 only when phosphorylated at Tyr642.
Target Information
FGFR4 is a member of the FGFR family of receptor tyrosine kinases, which regulate cellular functions such as angiogenesis, mitogenesis, osteogenesis, myogenesis, carcinogenesis, cellular differentiation, and tissue repair after injury.
The FGFR family is implicated in diseases including cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and diabetic retinopathy.
FGFR4 is required for normal down-regulation of CYP7A1 expression in response to FGF19 and plays a role in postnatal lung development and skeletal muscle cell lineage development.
