This antibody detects endogenous levels of JAK1 only when phosphorylated at Tyr1125.
Target Information
Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) is a protein tyrosine kinase involved in interferon-alpha/beta and -gamma signal transduction pathways. Upon cytokine or interferon stimulation, JAK1 recruits and phosphorylates Stat transcription factors, which dimerize and translocate to the nucleus to regulate gene transcription. Tyrosine phosphorylation at positions 1022 and 1023 is associated with catalytic activation.
