For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

MCL1 (Myeloid cell leukemia-1) is a member of the Bcl-2 family involved in differentiation and maintenance of cell viability. Isoform 1 inhibits apoptosis, while isoform 2 promotes it. MCL1 expression increases upon exposure to DNA-damaging agents, correlating with upregulation of GADD45 and Bax and downregulation of bcl-2.
MCL1 is associated with mitochondria and helps maintain cell viability under apoptotic conditions. It is essential for embryogenesis and the development of B and T lymphocytes. MCL1 exists as two isoforms, MCL1L and MCL1S; the latter promotes cell death when overexpressed.
