Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening individual clones to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

Prolyl hydroxylase domain proteins HIF PHD1, HIF PHD2, and HIF PHD3 hydroxylate HIF-alpha subunits, which are key regulators of oxygen homeostasis.
HIF PHD1 is widely expressed, with highest levels in testis, and acts as a cellular oxygen sensor important in cell growth regulation. It can localize to both nucleus and cytoplasm and is found in hormone-responsive tissues such as mammary, ovarian, and prostate epithelium (normal and cancerous).
HIF PHD1 is encoded by EGLN2, located on chromosome 19q13.3.
