Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double-distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

SLC1A7 belongs to the sodium:dicarboxylate (SDF) symporter (TC 2.A.23) family, SLC1A7 subfamily.
It functions as a transporter of L-glutamate, with sodium- and voltage-dependent but chloride-independent uptake.
Associated chloride conductance may participate in visual processing.
Interacts with PDZ domains of DLG4. Expressed primarily in retina; detectable in liver, heart, muscle, and brain.
