Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This gene belongs to the splicing factor SR family. U2 auxiliary factor, composed of a large and a small subunit, is a non-snRNP protein required for U2 snRNP binding to the pre-mRNA branch site. The small subunit encoded by this gene plays a critical role in both constitutive and enhancer-dependent RNA splicing by mediating interactions between the large subunit and enhancer-bound proteins. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
