Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The 20S proteasome is a protease complex responsible for cytosolic protein degradation and generation of peptide ligands for MHC class I molecules. Upon IFN-gamma stimulation, constitutive subunits LMP2, LMP7, and MECL-1 are replaced by inducible subunits, forming immunoproteasomes that enhance antigen processing and presentation. Independent assortment of these subunits can generate multiple proteasome subsets with distinct cleavage specificities.
