Target Information
KLHL15 is a member of the kelch repeat-containing protein superfamily. The kelch motif, first identified in Drosophila kelch ORF1, forms a conserved beta-propeller tertiary structure. These proteins are involved in embryogenesis and carcinogenesis through cytoskeleton organization. KLHL15 mRNA is expressed in many tissues and may play a role in protein ubiquitination and cytoskeleton organization.
