Target Information
SHOC2 단백질은 fibroblast growth factor receptor 신호전달 및 Ras 단백질 신호전달에 관여하며, leucine-rich repeats (LRR)로 구성된 널리 발현되는 단백질입니다. SHOC2는 RAS-MAPK 신호전달을 양성 조절하며, PP1c와 함께 M-Ras effector complex를 형성하여 MAPK 경로 활성화에 필수적입니다. Ras 유전자 변이 종양세포에서 SHOC2 발현 억제는 MAPK 활성은 억제하지만 PI3K 활성에는 영향을 주지 않습니다. SHOC2-PP1c 복합체는 암 MAPK 경로 억제를 위한 잠재적 치료 표적입니다. 또한 SHOC2의 비정상적 N-myristoylation은 Noonan-like syndrome with loose anagen hair와 관련이 있습니다.
