Mouse anti-Human CD172g antibody, clone OX119 recognizes human SIRP gamma, a 55 kDa signal regulatory protein that is a member of the immunoglobulin gene superfamily.
Reconstitute with 1 mL distilled water.
Target Information
SIRP gamma (CD172g) is a 55 kDa signal regulatory protein belonging to the immunoglobulin gene superfamily. It is expressed on most T lymphocytes and a subset of B-cells but absent on myeloid cells.
CD172g has a truncated cytoplasmic tail similar to SIRP beta, but unlike SIRP beta, it does not require DAP12 for surface expression.
Like SIRP alpha, CD172g binds to CD47 inducing apoptosis and is involved in the negative regulation of receptor tyrosine kinase-coupled signaling.
