Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

RIPK1 is a serine-threonine kinase involved in transducing inflammatory and cell-death signals (programmed necrosis) following death receptor ligation, activation of pathogen recognition receptors (PRRs), and DNA damage.
Upon TNFR1 activation by TNF-alpha family cytokines, TRADD and TRAF2 are recruited to the receptor.
RIPK1 phosphorylates DAB2IP at Ser-728 in a TNF-alpha-dependent manner, activating the MAP3K5-JNK apoptotic cascade.
Ubiquitination by TRAF2 via Lys-63-linked chains enhances downstream signaling in MAP kinase and NF-kappa-B pathways, mediating inflammatory gene activation.
Polyubiquitinated RIPK1 binds IKBKG/NEMO, a key step for NF-kappa-B activation.
RIPK1 interaction with other RHIM-containing adapters initiates gene activation and cell death, and association with RIPK3 forms a necrosis-inducing complex.
