Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
S100A9 (MRP-14) is a member of the S100 family of proteins containing two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. These proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of various cells and regulate processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation.
S100 genes include at least 13 members clustered on chromosome 1q21. S100A9 may function in inhibition of casein kinase, and altered expression is associated with cystic fibrosis.
