Western blot에서 약 97 kDa의 당화된 alpha-ENaC 밴드와 약 75 kDa의 비당화 형태를 검출합니다.
면역원은 인간 alpha-ENaC의 20–42번 잔기 서열에 해당하는 합성 펩타이드이며, 이 서열은 종에 따라 59–82%의 상동성을 가집니다.
중화 및 대조 실험용으로 동일한 펩타이드(Cat. # PEP-088)를 사용할 수 있습니다.
Target Information
Epithelial sodium channels (ENaC)은 Deg/ENaC 초가족에 속하는 아밀로라이드 민감성 이온 채널로, 두 개의 막관통 부위와 큰 세포외 루프를 가진 구조적 유사성을 공유합니다.
ENaC는 신장, 폐, 대장에서 나트륨 및 체액 균형 조절에 핵심적인 역할을 하며, 알도스테론 의존적 나트륨 재흡수 및 혈압 조절에 관여합니다.
CFTR 염화 이온 채널과의 상호작용을 통해 조절될 수 있으며, β 또는 γ-ENaC의 기능 획득 돌연변이는 고혈압(Liddle’s syndrome)을, α 또는 β-ENaC의 기능 상실 돌연변이는 가성저알도스테론증(PHA-1)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
