Target Information
NUAK2 (SNF1/AMP kinase-related kinase, SNARK)는 SNF1-like kinase 2의 NUAK 계열 멤버로, 근육 수축에 의해 활성화되며 골격근의 수축 자극성 포도당 수송을 매개함.
NUAK2는 비만 및 제2형 당뇨병과 관련된 세포 스트레스 반응에 관여하며, AMP 및 5-amino-4-imidazolecarboxamide riboside에 의해 활성화됨.
포도당 결핍 시에도 NUAK2 활성 증가가 관찰됨.
