Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Kallikrein 8, 10, 11, and 15 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases with diverse physiological functions. Many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and may serve as cancer or disease biomarkers.
This gene is one of fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. Alternate splicing results in three transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
