Reconstitution:
Before opening, briefly centrifuge the vial to bring contents to the bottom.
Reconstitute MDC in sterile, distilled water to 0.1–1.0 mg/mL.
Further dilutions should be made in aqueous buffers supplemented with carrier protein (e.g., 0.1–1.0% BSA).

Storage:
Lyophilized preparation is stable at 2–8°C, but store at -20°C for long-term storage (preferably desiccated).
After reconstitution, stable for up to one week at 2–8°C.
For maximal stability, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Target Information

CCL22 may play a role in the trafficking of activated/effector T-lymphocytes to inflammatory sites and other aspects of activated T-lymphocyte physiology.
It is chemotactic for monocytes, dendritic cells, and natural killer cells.
CCL22 acts as a mild chemoattractant for primary activated T-lymphocytes and a potent chemoattractant for chronically activated T-lymphocytes.
No chemoattractant activity for neutrophils, eosinophils, or resting T-lymphocytes.
Binds to CCR4.
