Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They comprise multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining polyclonal sensitivity with monoclonal specificity and recombinant consistency.
These antibodies recognize multiple epitopes on the target, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance proteins. Each lot contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating variability typical of polyclonal production.

Target Information

Nuclear factor kB p65 (NF-kB p65), encoded by the RELA gene on chromosome 11 in humans, is also known as RelA (v-rel avian reticuloendotheliosis viral oncogene homolog A).
It belongs to the Rel family of proteins and forms part of the NF-kB complex, heterodimerizing with p50 or p52 subunits.
Upon TNF alpha binding to its receptor, IKK is phosphorylated, leading to phosphorylation and degradation of I kB. NF-kB p65 plays a crucial role in transcription of the immunoglobulin k (kappa) gene in mature B-lymphoid cells.
