Product Specific Information
This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, chicken, canine, amphibian, mouse, rabbit, and rat based on sequence homology.
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
After antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is brain tissue.

- Ionotropic receptors: oligomeric complexes (GluR1–7, NMDA1–3, KAI-2) forming ligand-gated calcium channels.
- Metabotropic receptors: G-protein coupled receptors that activate phospholipases or adenylyl cyclase, depending on neuronal type.
