Target Information
Formyl peptide receptor 2 (FPR2) is a low-affinity receptor for N-formyl-methionyl peptides. Binding of FMLP to FPR2 activates neutrophils through a G-protein–mediated phosphatidylinositol-calcium signaling pathway. Activation of LXA4R may result in anti-inflammatory effects counteracting proinflammatory signals such as LTB4.
