Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The SETBP1 gene encodes a protein containing several motifs, including a ski homology region, a SET-binding region, and three nuclear localization signals. This protein binds the SET nuclear oncogene involved in DNA replication. Mutations in SETBP1 are associated with Schinzel-Giedion midface retraction syndrome. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
