Product Specific Information
This antibody was cross-adsorbed to unphosphorylated CRMP2 (Thr-555) before affinity purification using phospho-CRMP2 (Thr-555) peptide (without carrier).
The antibody detects a 70 kDa protein corresponding to CRMP2 on immunoblots of rat PC12 or mouse C2C12 cells treated with calyculin A.
This reactivity can be specifically blocked using phospho-CRMP2 (Thr-555) peptide (CX2255).
Target Information
Necessary for signaling by class 3 semaphorins and subsequent remodeling of the cytoskeleton.
Plays a role in axon guidance, neuronal growth cone collapse, and cell migration.
