Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Phosphomannose isomerase catalyzes the interconversion of fructose-6-phosphate and mannose-6-phosphate, playing a critical role in maintaining the supply of D-mannose derivatives required for most glycosylation reactions. Mutations in the MPI gene are associated with carbohydrate-deficient glycoprotein syndrome type Ib.
