Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
TRIAP1 is involved in the modulation of the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway by ensuring the accumulation of cardiolipin (CL) in mitochondrial membranes. The TRIAP1:PRELID1 complex mediates phosphatidic acid (PA) transfer between liposomes and functions as a PA transporter across the mitochondrial intermembrane space to support CL synthesis. Similarly, the TRIAP1:PRELID3A complex functions as a PA transporter both in vitro and in vivo. It mediates cell survival by inhibiting activation of caspase-9, thereby preventing apoptosis.
