This antibody is predicted to react with canine, mouse, porcine, and rat based on sequence homology.

Target Information
The VPS28 gene encodes a protein involved in endosomal sorting of cell surface receptors via the multivesicular body/late endosome pathway.
It is one of the three subunits of the ESCRT-I complex (endosomal complexes required for transport) involved in sorting ubiquitinated proteins.
The other subunits of ESCRT-I are vesicular protein sorting 23 (tumor susceptibility gene 101, TSG101) and vesicular protein sorting 37.
Two alternative transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described, and additional transcripts may exist but have not been experimentally verified.
