Target Information
SRPK1 is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a role in the regulation of both constitutive and alternative splicing by controlling intracellular localization of splicing factors.
It localizes to the nucleus and cytoplasm and is involved in splicing regulation.
A second alternatively spliced transcript variant for this gene has been described, but its full-length nature has not been determined.
