Target Information
RPS6KA3 (RSK2) is a serine/threonine kinase that modulates cellular processes such as transcription, adhesion, growth, survival, and proliferation. It contains two non-identical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the MAPK signaling pathway. This protein plays a key role in cell growth and differentiation, and mutations in the gene are associated with Coffin-Lowry syndrome (CLS).
