Target Information
Avpr2는 arginine vasopressin, neurophysin 2, copeptin으로 구성된 전구 단백질입니다. Arginine vasopressin은 시상하부의 시신경상핵 및 시신경주위핵에서 합성되어, neurophysin 2와 함께 신경분비 소포에 포장되어 신경하수체로 수송됩니다.
이 단백질은 수송 중 활성화되어 혈류로 분비되며, 신장에서 항이뇨 작용을 하고 말초혈관의 수축을 유도합니다. 또한 분만과 수유 시 평활근 수축, 인지 및 적응, 성적·모성 행동 조절, 수분 배설 및 심혈관 기능 조절에도 관여합니다.
Avpr2의 활성은 G 단백질을 통해 adenylate cyclase를 활성화함으로써 매개됩니다.
