Target Information
Vasopressin receptor 1A (AVPR1A) is a receptor for arginine vasopressin. Its activity is mediated by G-proteins that activate a phosphatidyl-inositol-calcium second messenger system. AVPR1A has been implicated in social behaviors such as affiliation and attachment.
