Target Information
EGFR(Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor)는 다양한 성장 인자에 반응하는 수용체 티로신 키나아제로, 과발현은 여러 종류의 암과 관련되어 있습니다.
EGFR 유전자는 인간의 염색체 7번에 위치하며, HER/ERbB 단백질 패밀리(ERbB2, ERbB3, ERbB4 포함)에 속합니다.
EGFR은 막관통 수용체로, EGF(Epidermal Growth Factor)나 TGF-α(Transforming Growth Factor α) 등의 리간드가 세포외 도메인에 결합하면 이량체화(dimerization)와 세포질 도메인의 티로신 잔기 자가 인산화가 유도됩니다.
EGFR의 과발현은 두경부, 뇌, 방광, 위, 유방, 폐, 자궁내막, 자궁경부, 외음부, 난소, 식도, 위 및 편평세포암 등 다양한 종양에서 관찰됩니다.
