Target Information
EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor)은 다양한 성장 인자에 반응하는 수용체 티로신 키나아제로, 과발현은 여러 암종과 관련이 있습니다. EGFR은 인간 7번 염색체에 위치한 EGFR 유전자에 의해 암호화되며, HER/ERbB 단백질군(ERbB2, ERbB3, ERbB4)을 포함합니다.
EGFR은 막관통 수용체로서 EGF(Epidermal Growth Factor), TGFα(Transforming Growth Factor alpha) 등의 리간드가 세포외 도메인에 결합하면 이합체화 및 세포질 도메인의 티로신 잔기 자가인산화를 유도합니다.
EGFR 과발현은 두경부, 뇌, 방광, 위, 유방, 폐, 자궁내막, 자궁경부, 외음부, 난소, 식도, 위암 및 편평세포암 등 다양한 종양에서 관찰됩니다.
