Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Kallikrein 2, 8, and 11 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases implicated in carcinogenesis.
KLK12, a novel KLK gene, is expressed in various tissues including salivary gland, stomach, uterus, lung, thymus, prostate, colon, brain, thyroid, and trachea.
It has potential applications as a novel cancer biomarker.
