This antibody detects endogenous levels of TALIN1 only when phosphorylated at Ser425.
Target Information
Talin is a multifunctional constituent of cell-substratum attachment sites and a high molecular weight protein (225–235 kDa) found in various tissues and cell types. It is localized at specific adherens junctions and cell-matrix associations characterized by filamentous actin at the cytoplasmic face. In cultured cells, talin is primarily found at adhesion plaques and fibrillar streaks underlying cell surface fibronectin. It interacts with vinculin and integrin, both localized at adhesion plaques.
