This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific immunogen chromatography. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The Latrophilin family of G protein-coupled receptors includes three members: latrophilin-1, -2, and -3, each with distinct tissue distribution and function. Latrophilin-1 acts as a receptor for α-latrotoxin from black widow spider venom, triggering synaptic vesicle exocytosis via both Ca²⁺-dependent and independent mechanisms. Latrophilin-1 is abundant in brain and endocrine cells, latrophilin-3 is brain-specific, and latrophilin-2 is ubiquitously expressed.
