Target Information
KLF5 (Kruppel-like factor 5) is a member of the Kruppel-like factor subfamily of zinc finger proteins. It contains three C2H2-type zinc fingers at the carboxyl-terminus that preferentially bind to GC-rich cis-DNA elements. KLF5 functions as a transcription activator promoting cell proliferation and oncogenesis.
