Target Information
Cul2는 여러 cullin-RING 기반 ECS (ElonginB/C-CUL2/5-SOCS-box protein) E3 유비퀴틴-단백질 리가아제 복합체의 핵심 구성 요소입니다. 이 복합체는 표적 단백질의 유비퀴틴화를 매개하며, ARIH1과 협력하여 작용합니다. Cul2는 복합체 내에서 강직한 스캐폴드 역할을 하며, 기질과 유비퀴틴 결합 효소의 위치를 조정하여 촉매 작용에 기여할 수 있습니다. E3 유비퀴틴-단백질 리가아제 활성은 cullin 소단위의 neddylation에 의존하며, deneddylated cullin이 TIP120A/CAND1과 결합할 경우 억제됩니다. ECS(VHL) 복합체는 hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)의 유비퀴틴화를 매개합니다. [UniProt]
