Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

The mammalian Phospholipase Cγ (PLCγ) family includes PLCγ1 and PLCγ2, which share similar structural domains. PLCγ isozymes contain an additional PH domain, two SH2 domains, and one SH3 domain. Upon stimulation by hormones or growth factors, receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) phosphorylate and activate PLCγ. Activated PLCγ hydrolyzes phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2) to generate second messengers inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate (IP3) and diacylglycerol (DAG).
