Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Caldesmon is a developmentally regulated protein involved in smooth muscle and non-muscle contraction. Two variants of human caldesmon have been identified:
- h-caldesmon (120–150 kDa): Predominantly expressed in smooth muscle
- l-caldesmon (70–80 kDa): Found in non-muscle tissue and cells
Neither variant is detected in skeletal muscle.
