Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-36γ (IL-1F9). Anti-Human IL-36γ (IL-1F9)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human IL-36γ by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human IL-36γ (500-P316) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human IL-36γ.

Western Blot:
To detect Human IL-36γ by Western Blot, use at 0.1–0.2 mg/mL. When used with compatible development reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-36γ is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Cytokine that binds to and signals through the IL1RL2/IL-36R receptor, activating NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways. It is part of the IL-36 signaling system, active in epithelial barriers and involved in local inflammatory responses similar to the IL-1 system. Plays a role in skin inflammation by acting on keratinocytes, dendritic cells, and T-cells to promote tissue infiltration, cell maturation, and proliferation. Induces expression of chemokines such as CCL3, CCL4, CCL5, CCL2, CCL17, CCL22, CXCL8, CCL20, and CXCL1, as well as TNF-α, S100A7/psoriasin, and inducible NOS. May participate in neutrophilic airway inflammation and innate immune responses to fungal pathogens like Aspergillus fumigatus.
