Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-36γ (IL-1F9). Anti-Human IL-36γ (IL-1F9)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human IL-36γ by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human IL-36γ (500-P316) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human IL-36γ.

Western Blot:
To detect Human IL-36γ by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 mg/mL. When used with compatible development reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-36γ is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Cytokine that binds to and signals through the IL1RL2/IL-36R receptor, activating NF-κB and MAPK pathways. Part of the IL-36 signaling system involved in epithelial barrier inflammation, similar to the IL-1 system with shared coreceptor IL1RAP. Plays a role in skin inflammatory responses via keratinocytes, dendritic cells, and T-cells, promoting chemokine expression (CCL3, CCL4, CCL5, CCL2, CCL17, CCL22, CXCL8, CCL20, CXCL1) and proinflammatory mediators (TNF-α, S100A7, NOS). May contribute to neutrophilic airway inflammation and innate immune responses to fungal pathogens such as Aspergillus fumigatus.
