Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-36γ (IL-1F9). Anti-Human IL-36γ (IL-1F9)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human IL-36γ (IL-1F9) matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human IL-36γ (IL-1F9) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human IL-36γ (IL-1F9) (500-P316Bt) as a detection antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human IL-36γ (IL-1F9).

Western Blot:
To detect Human IL-36γ by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-36γ is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Cytokine that binds to and signals through the IL1RL2/IL-36R receptor, activating NF-κB and MAPK pathways in target cells. Part of the IL-36 signaling system present in epithelial barriers, involved in local inflammatory responses similar to the IL-1 system. Plays a role in skin inflammation by acting on keratinocytes, dendritic cells, and indirectly on T-cells to drive tissue infiltration, cell maturation, and proliferation. Induces chemokines such as CCL3, CCL4, CCL5, CCL2, CCL17, CCL22, CXCL8, CCL20, and CXCL1, and stimulates proinflammatory parameters including TNF-α, S100A7/psoriasin, and inducible NOS. May also participate in airway inflammation and innate immune response to fungal pathogens like Aspergillus fumigatus.
