Target Information
The GRB7 gene encodes a growth factor receptor-binding protein that interacts with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and ephrin receptors.
This protein is part of a small family of adapter proteins that interact with receptor tyrosine kinases and signaling molecules.
It plays a role in the integrin signaling pathway and cell migration through binding with focal adhesion kinase (FAK).
Alternative splicing leads to multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms, with two full-length variants identified to date.
