Target Information
CD4+ helper T-cells in mice differentiate into Th1 and Th2 cells, essential for cell-mediated and antibody-mediated immunity. Th1 differentiation is influenced by IL12, while IL4 drives Th2 differentiation. The gene encoding TCCR is similar to the mouse T-cell cytokine receptor at the amino acid level and is predicted to be a glycosylated transmembrane protein.
Diseases associated with IL27RA include Hyper IgE Recurrent Infection Syndrome 4 and Crisponi/Cold-Induced Sweating Syndrome 2.
