Product Specific Information
This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Bovine, Rat, and Mouse.
Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They combine the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity and consistency of monoclonal antibodies.
Each lot contains a defined mixture of recombinant light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability.
Formerly known as “Recombinant polyclonal antibody,” this product is now branded as “Recombinant Superclonal™ antibody.”
The physical product and performance remain unchanged.
Target Information
PSD-93 (chapsyn-110) is a plasma membrane–associated protein found in synaptic junctions.
It is expressed in Purkinje neuron cell bodies and dendrites and contains three PDZ domains, one SH3 domain, and a carboxyl-terminal GuK domain.
PSD-93 is involved in clustering NMDA receptors and shaker-type potassium channels at synaptic membranes.
Interactions occur through C-terminal T/SXV motifs or PDZ–PDZ domain associations, contributing to neuronal plasticity.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
