For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

BAG-5 protein is hypothesized to induce the death of nigral neurons through interaction with hsp70, leading to increased protein aggregation and cell death by disinhibition of hsp70’s anti-apoptotic function.
It may play a key role in neuronal death mechanisms and could modulate the hsp70/hsp40 chaperone axis or interact with other BAG proteins via BAG-BAG heterodimerization.
