Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The Taxol resistance-associated gene-3 (TRAG-3), also known as CSAG2, is a cancer-testis antigen associated with acquired paclitaxel (Taxol) resistance.
It is expressed in various cancers such as breast cancer, leukemia, and melanoma, and is overexpressed in taxol-resistant breast cancer line MDA 435(TR) and doxorubicin-resistant multiple myeloma lines 8226/Dox(40) and 8226/MDR(10)V.
Weak expression is observed in kidney tissue. TRAG-3 is considered an attractive target for cancer immunotherapy.
