SMAD2 (MADH2, MAD2)
SMAD2는 세포 증식, 사멸, 분화 등 다양한 세포 과정을 조절하는 단백질입니다. TGF-β 수용체와 상호작용하여 신호 전달 경로를 매개하며, ERK1에 의해 인산화되어 전사 활성 조절을 받습니다. TGF-β 신호에 반응해 SMAD4와 결합하여 핵으로 이동하고, 전사 억제 복합체를 형성하여 표적 유전자의 발현을 조절합니다. 또한 activin 수용체에 의해 인산화되어 activin 신호를 매개할 수 있으며, 다양한 스플라이싱 변이체가 존재합니다.
