Product Specific Information
The GL3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the gamma delta T-cell receptor (TCR) complex on all gamma delta TCR-bearing T cells, but not with alpha beta TCR.
Gamma delta TCRs are found in the thymus, epidermis, intestinal epithelium, peritoneal cavity, and lymphoid tissues.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse lymph node cells. Recommended ≤ 0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Antibody titration recommended for optimal performance.
Precautions:
- Pre-stain cells with anti-mouse CD16/32 (Product # 14-0161-85) to prevent non-specific Fc-mediated binding.
- Light sensitive: protect vial and samples from light.
- Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C using IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333).
- Excitation: 488–561 nm; Emission: 775 nm; Laser: Blue, Green, Yellow-Green.
- Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

TCR gamma/delta are specialized T-cells crucial for immune recognition.
They discriminate foreign from self-peptides via MHC class II molecules, impacting autoimmune diseases and tumor recognition.
Gamma-delta T cells are mainly located in epithelial tissues, show limited TCR diversity, and exhibit antitumor and immunoregulatory functions.
