Product Specific Information

  • For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  • Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

IL-3Ra (Interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha) belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family and forms a heterodimer with a unique alpha chain paired with the common beta (βc or CDw131) subunit.
It mediates the signal transmission of Interleukin-3. IL-3Ra and IL-3Rb heterodimerization is induced by Interleukin-3, which is necessary for receptor activation but not for high-affinity binding.
IL-3Ra subunits are reported to be overexpressed on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) blasts compared to normal hematopoietic cells, making them potential targets for novel therapeutic agents.
